エンターテインメントが新しい価値を作り出すことができるフロンティアとして「教育」の領域が挙げられる。「Education×Entertainment＝Edutainment（エデュテインメント）」という言葉も少しずつ浸透していく中、テクノロジーやコンテンツ、体験を武器に教育領域を進化させるスタートアップや新規事業の取り組みも増えている。様々なアプローチで教育に取り組む方々とともに、エンターテインメントと融合した新時代の教育を語ります。

          Joined TBS Television in 2005 as a new graduate. After working as an AD and director on shows like “The Cheater” and “Sunday Japon”, I covered the MPD as a reporter. Later, served as chief producer for “Sunday Japon” and “Ariyoshi Japon”, and produced a variety of programs including entertainment, election specials, and infotainment. Since 2022, I have also worked in the Business Investment Strategy Department, and next year, have been leading new business development and edutainment initiatives.

His sole publications include "Gameful Design: The evolution of gamification that creates 'want to play'" (Shoei-sha, 2025).

                  Hidekazu Shoto

                  Elementary school teacher at Ritsumeikan Primary School. Originally from Osaka Prefecture. Graduated from Kansai Gaidai University and completed a Master’s degree in Foreign Language Education at Kansai University Graduate School. After teaching at public junior high schools in Kyoto City and at Ritsumeikan Junior & Senior High School, currently serves in his present role.

                  His innovative use of Minecraft in the classroom earned him global recognition, becoming the first Japanese elementary school teacher to be selected as a Top 10 finalist for the Global Teacher Prize in 2019 — chosen from over 30,000 entries across more than 150 countries, and named one of the “Top 10 Outstanding Teachers in the World.”

                  He also serves as the edutainment producer for the educational edition of the game Momotetsu. His notable works include “The English Textbook That Will Change Your Child’s Future: Lessons from a Top Global Teacher” (published by Kodansha), among others.

                      Graduating with an LL.B. from the University of Tokyo, [Name] began her career at the strategy consulting firms Corporate Directions, Inc. (CDI) and Bain & Company. In 2014 she became a founding member of Wonderfy Inc., while also teaching at the company’s original after-school program, Hanamaru Group.

                      At Wonderfy she led the launch of the critical-thinking app Think!Think!, now enjoyed by more than 3 million users across 150 countries, as well as the subscription-based STEAM program WonderBox. In 2023 she was appointed CEO.

                      Her mission: to create a future in which every child, everywhere, can learn with authentic excitement and curiosity.

                                  Jeevan Gnanam は、祖父である故 A. Y. S. Gnanam 氏（St. Anthony’s Group〈SAグループ〉の創業者）と同様に、起業家精神あふれるアイデアの創出者となることを目指しています。SAグループはスリランカで最も歴史があり、最大規模の複合企業のひとつであり、繊維、建築資材、プラスチック製品、工業用ファスナー、セメント、ファイバーセメント、波形屋根材の製造を通じて産業の発展を切り開いてきました。

                                  Jeevan 氏は、スリランカ初の本格的なITパーク「Orion City（オリオンシティ）」の立役者でもあり、ここには世界を代表するIT企業が拠点を構えています。2008年の設立以来、オリオンシティは着実な成長を遂げ、2020年までに100万平方フィートの施設目標を達成しました。

                                  また、スリランカ最大級のプラスチック製造企業の一つである Anton 社のCEOも務めています。革新と品質への強いこだわりにより、Anton 社は国民から信頼されるブランドとして確固たる地位を築いています。60年の歴史の中でスリランカのプラスチック業界において多くの「初」を成し遂げ、現在はサステナブル開発においても業界をリードしています。

                                  2007年には兄と共にウェブアプリ開発会社「Providence（プロビデンス）」を創業し、現在はBPO（ビジネス・プロセス・アウトソーシング）事業へも拡大しています。さらに2012年には「SAKS（SA Knowledge Services）」を設立し、金融サービス、リサーチ＆アナリティクス、リーガルプロセスアウトソーシングなどにおいて柔軟でカスタマイズされたソリューションを提供しています。

                                          地球観測衛星「だいち2号」（ALOS-2）や「だいち4号」（ALOS-4）など、SAR衛星をメインに観測データ利活用を行う。 2023年度には産学官による衛星地球観測のコミュニティ「地球観測コンソーシアム」（CONSEO）の光学・SAR観測 WGの事務局を担当。 現在は海洋分野において海洋のデータ収集し、政府機関に提供している。

                                              JAXA入社後、ロケットエンジン開発、宇宙船「こうのとり」開発・運用、米国ヒューストン駐在員事務所にてNASA等との国際調整業務を経て、現在は、JAXA宇宙イノベーションパートナーシップ(J-SPARC)プログラムを展開し、JAXAの研究開発力の向上と新たな民間宇宙ビジネスの創出を目指した複数の共創プロジェクトを推進している。加えて、2024年4月から、宇宙戦略基金の技術開発マネージメントに従事。兵庫県姫路市出身。一般社団法人スペースポートジャパン共同創業者＆理事。
