1.Background

Headline Asia recognizes that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) plays a crucial role in creating a sustainable society and is indispensable for corporate growth. As part of the venture community, Headline Asia is committed to valuing and promoting DE&I in all aspects of its operations.

2.Objectives

Headline Asia will work to advance DE&I by pursuing the following initiatives and goals:

Formulation of DE&I Policy and Strategy:
Formulate and disseminate a policy that respects DE&I, along with strategies and plans (including necessary KPIs) to promote DE&I throughout the organization.

Leadership Commitment and Communication:
Ensure leadership exemplifies DE&I values and communicates the importance of DE&I to all members of the organization.

Inclusive Culture with Psychological Safety:
Foster an organizational culture that guarantees psychological safety and inclusiveness, where all individuals feel respected and included.

Diverse Talent Recruitment and Development:
Actively recruit talent from diverse backgrounds and focus on the development and growth of these employees within the company.

Transparency:
Maintain and improve transparency in company processes and decision-making to build trust and fairness.

Addressing Unconscious Bias:
Implement systematic measures to identify and address unconscious biases in the workplace.

Education and Training:
Provide ongoing education and training related to DE&I to all executives and employees, to deepen understanding and encourage inclusive behaviors.

Regular Evaluation and Feedback:
Conduct regular evaluations of DE&I efforts and solicit feedback to continuously improve our initiatives and policies.

3.Harassment: Zero Tolerance and Prevention

Harassment is a serious violation of human rights. Headline Asia absolutely does not tolerate any form of harassment toward its officers and employees, or toward the officers and employees of companies in which it invests or is considering investing. To eradicate harassment, Headline Asia will implement the following measures:

No-Tolerance Policy:
Establish a clear policy of zero tolerance for harassment and any form of discrimination.

Leadership Example:
Top management will clearly demonstrate a commitment to preventing and eliminating harassment in the workplace.

Safe Reporting Systems:
Build a safe and accessible system for reporting and whistle-blowing, and ensure it is managed impartially and fairly so that anyone can report issues without fear of reprisal.

Education and Training:
Provide thorough education and training programs aimed at preventing harassment and discrimination, thereby promoting a respectful and safe work environment for all.
