How Should Japan Build Its Own Deeptech Ecosystem?
In the West, venture creation-based incubation models—such as Flagship Pioneering, which gave rise to Moderna—have achieved remarkable success. But what is needed to build a similarly successful model in Japan, and what unique challenges must be addressed? This session brings together experts from government agencies, local communities, academic institutions, and startups to engage in a practical discussion on how to develop a venture creation ecosystem tailored to Japan’s unique environment.
